I like the hot pastrami sandwiches, but the western burger is pretty good too. Both are messy, but, oh so worth it. We've tried the taco salads which are also a favorite...but the chocolate milkshakes seem to be everyone's favorite.

Better than those fast food chains

I stopped because the parking lot was full of police vehicles and I figured it was THE place to go for good food.The people were nice and attentive.The food was just ok.

Over priced but good food and great service

I had an amazing BBQ burger and onion rings for a cheaper price than I'd spend elsewhere in Ashland. I also picked up a corn dog but that was way overpriced. 3.75 for a family farm brand corn dog. I was expecting something better for that price. Milkshakes are worth trying too. Had a reeses one and it included chopped peanuts.

Nice little burger stand, its located in Asland and the burgers are great the server treats you like a return customer, so if your in the northern part of town drop by you'll like it. I did

My husband and I were out with friends in Ashland on the Sept.4th and stopped here for dinner. We loved the food and the service.

Their online menu offers things they don't actually have the in-store, so be aware of that. Maybe it's a COVID thing. At least that's what Gloria, the lady behind the counter told me. She seems to enjoy being rude and misleading customers, so who knows. Hopefully they replace her or she learns manners, whatever's going on

We love going to B.A.'s. Great food with big portions, and reasonable prices. The employees treat us like family. Reminds me of the good ole days.

I had some oral surgery and wanted a thick banana shake made with real bananas.. they made me the perfect shake! My husband had a hamburger with criss cut fries and said his food was really good! The young man at the register was very friendly and said his father was " Big Al" whom the diner was named after. Great overall experience!

Pretty much a game changer. If your traveling party is being a super buzzkill, a trip to Big Al’s is what you need! The ABC burger is an old school and hipster combo, it’s pretty good. Strawberry milkshake on point. Troop morale has improved significantly.

Best ham & cheese and Reuben in the area. their fry sauce is legendary and a secret recipe. Malts like places used to make in the 50s. Friendly. Locally owned. This is comfort food at its best with an amazing history in city of Ashland. Never have I heard anybody say "let's get Big Al's" meet opposition by those that know about this local treasure! ♥️

My wife and I came to try out the burgers. Best burgers in town! Clean restaurant, fast and attentive service. Amazing air about the place. Cute burger joint to take your girl to and share a burger, fries and a shake. Also very tasty Mexican food. We will frequent this place now that we know about it. Would recommend Big Al’s to anyone. If it wasn't for the lettuce I would really be upset. You can almost Trace through them there so thin.First and only time I will ever go there. It was recommended to me buy a friend who lives in Ashland. Not much of a friend I'll tell you that much it's either that or he just doesn't know hamburgers.And when a hamburger is a thin patty they cook well done every time.Not happy.
